Shaun and I met in December of 2010 and of all places we met online. EHarmony to be exact. It was the last thing I thought I would ever do to meet someone. I was not even looking for a relationship necessarily. It was my two older sisters who actually talked me into it. Thank goodness I took their advice, because no later than 2 weeks in I came across Shaun's dapper profile picture and biography that was word for word what I was looking for. We took it slow to make sure it was the correct time to start meeting each other in person.
Our first date was at a place called the sushi train. It is a fun little place where you sit at a circular table in the middle of the restaurant where different types of sushi is placed on a little train. It was one of the best times I have ever had. Afterwards we had coffee. That night we knew we would be in each others lives forever.
To sum us up we are a two peas in a pod as silly as that is to say...we enjoy traveling (when we get the chance). We have a dog together named Daisy. We are big Sporting KC Soccer fans. And most importantly we are followers of Christ.
We got engaged on May 18th 2012 and Married on June 1st 2013. Since our wedding we have enjoyed ourselves on our honeymoon in Aruba, started financing together and having talks about purchasing a house.
